Orders within the EU are dispatched every Friday. Orders form outside the EU are dispatched Fridays in even weeks.

Right of cancellation

Ørsted Webshop offers a 14-day right of return/right of cancellation in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftaleloven). The period is calculated from the day you receive the product ordered.

If you regret having placed the order, you have the following options:

1: You can return the ordered product to the supplier in person.

2: You can return the ordered product by post or using another carrier. If you use this option, it is sufficient that you hand over the product to the postal services or carrier within the 14-day time limit. We recommend that you ask for a postal receipt or the like as proof that you have returned the product within the time limit.

Limitation of liability

To the extent that Ørsted Webshop can be held liable vis-à-vis the buyer under the Danish Product Liability Act (produktansvarsloven), the liability of Ørsted Webshop is limited to product liability and thus does not extend to liability for any loss of earnings, transportation costs, loss of profit etc.
Ørsted Webshop accepts no liability resulting from the buyer's legal relations with third parties.

Dispatch

Orders from within the EU are dispatched from the warehouse on Fridays, except where they fall on national public holidays. Orders from outside the EU are dispatched from the warehouse every second Friday. Orders placed before 12 noon on a day of dispatch will be dispatched the same day, while orders placed after 12 noon will be dispatched on the next day of dispatch. Shipment

On receipt, if the product shows signs of transport damage, you, as the buyer, must contact the carrier. Ørsted Webshop accepts no liability for transport damage.

Personal information

No personal information registered by IDÉ House of Brands A/S will ever be handed over, sold or made available to third parties. All information is stored securely and is accessible only to trusted employees at IDÉ House of Brands A/S.

In the Webshop system, electronic payments are made using a secure encryption method from an approved provider carrying the e mark.
The shop system uses so-called cookies to manage the contents of your cart. A cookie is simply the name of a file stored on your computer. You can also ask the system to save your address details for your next visit. Should you wish to delete this information at a later date, this can be done via your browser settings. In Microsoft Edge, you will find the settings under "Settings" and "Cookies and site data".

When you place an order, we will ask for your name, address and email address. This information is used solely for processing your order. The information is transmitted and stored electronically in an unencrypted form for five years. The actual "contract" (the purchase agreement) is not stored by IDÉ House of Brands A/S in a way that enables you to later log on and view/change your status.
In addition, we register the IP address from which your purchase is made. This information is normally not used for anything, but may be used in connection with police investigations. All false orders are reported to the police.

In accordance with the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data (persondataloven), we disclose and delete personal data to the extent required upon request.

Right of complaint

Under the Danish Sale of Goods Act (købeloven), the buyer has a two-year right of complaint, covering defects and non-conformities identified during normal use of the product. Complaints about defects and non-conformities that ought to be identified during a normal examination of the product must be sent to Ørsted Webshop within a reasonable time. The product can subsequently be returned, and either a replacement can be sent, or the amount can be credited, subject to prior agreement. Costs associated with replacements are paid by Ørsted Webshop.

You must return the product to us at the above-mentioned address, quoting the invoice number and describing what you believe is wrong with the product. In the case of food, please contact us as soon as possible since the right of complaint is limited due to product durability. If a complaint leads to a credit, Ørsted Webshop reserves the right to make a deduction for any missing packaging or accessories. The right of complaint lapses if the non-conformity was caused by the buyer, for example due to improper or unauthorised repair or use. If a product is returned for repair under the warranty, and nothing is wrong, the buyer will be charged an inspection fee of DKK 150, excluding VAT and shipping costs.
